This year, we became members of our neighborhood pool. We've been on the waiting list for membership for 2 years now, and we actually thought we had one more year. So it was quite a surprise when I emailed to see where we were on the list, and they said that we had made it in. We've spent quite a bit of time at the pool since. It's been great fun. And of course now we have established some little pool traditions. One is Famous Amos cookies. This is an addiction with Rowan, and now Lydia has discovered their tastiness, and they fight over them.
The other pool tradition is Minute Maid Orangeade. At least, by walking to and from, and then swimming, we get enough exercise to work off some of the sugar;)
