Christmas Eve

The morning of Christmas Eve, we had brunch. We had omelets, French toast, and fruit. It was delicious. Lydia really enjoyed it. 

 

 

 

Excitement was in the air!

 

We were SO happy to have GG with us for the day.

We opened presents from GG per our usual Christmas Eve tradition. Rowan was in charge of handing out gifts.

When Lydia was sick last week, we watched Monster's Inc. over and over again. She loves this movie. So mom got her a Mike Wazowski doll. Lydia calls him, "Mike Eowski," and it is adorable! haha.

She was super excited about Mike and has been carrying him around ever since.

Papa Quinn came to Christmas Eve too, and we were happy to see him.

 After Mom and Quinn headed home, we rested for a bit, and then we realized we had missed Santa's drive-by on the firetruck. So we set out in our car and hunted him down. Here I grabbed a shot as we stood on the side of the road and waved!

We drove around to look at Christmas lights, and then when we came home, Rowan sprinkled the reindeer food.

We set out cookies for Santa and then read, "Twas the Night before Christmas".

 

Rowan had dictated a letter for Santa this year. We actually put it in the mailbox, but I did get a picture of it before it sent. I love how he explains all the nice things he does for his sister. :)
